Actually, there is... some manufacturers have an attachment that will power a few lights or something else that does not require a lot of electricity. And I have seen a Cycleops trainer power a mixer to make margueritas! If you are looking to store the energy, you may need to invent your own battery system, or contact a solar energy company and modify it for your home. Good luck!

Yes there is but it will only produce 12 or 24 volt DC electricity. Not practically useful for a lot of everyday around the home stuff.
