Does anyone know of a bike shop in Toronto that sells schwinn mountain bikes?
schwinn mesa gsd
So tell me what the difference is between the $150 meijer schwinn mountain bike and the $270 schwinn mountain?
bike at the bike shop. They both have comparable components, derailer, brakes, frame, etc. Am I paying the extra $120 for service? Are bike shops bikes made with better quality parts. I know with plumbing for example, you get better parts at a plumbing store than at home depot, even for the parts with the same model number. Anyone got any experience with bike quality.
What is the gear configuration for a 24 speed schwinn mountain bike?

How do I effectively use my 7-speed Schwinn mountain bike?
Training for the Danskin triathalon and I am having trouble adjusting my gears to the right ones for up hill, downhill and straightaway. It's been ages since I have rode a bike and don't think I had gears then. What is the right side vs. left side and what should it be on to go uphill, straight away and downhill?
I saw this Schwinn mountain bike in a pawn shop, but I can't seem to identify it.?
I just saw it today, but I forgot to ask for the model number. The pawn shop I went to was having a " 25 % off Bicycle Sale" . The sale price for the bike I saw was $225. I'm not exactly a bike expert by no means, but I want to start off with a better bike than the cheap bike I got seven years ago at Target. The tires seem to be that of mountain bikes. The rims were, I believe, 26" . The frame of the bike was silver from what I remember and the shifters went up to 8 gears and 3 gears on the other side of the handle. It was a dual suspension as well. The brakes it had was a disc break in the front and just a regular brake in the rear. The bike seemed to be in good condition from what I saw. What do you guys think as a guess of what specific bike this is, and if it's worth to buy it $200 ?
Is a Schwinn mountain bike a good choice?
Hi all, I'm moving to Chapel Hill, NC for grad school this fall and am going to buy a new bike for commuting to campus parking is horrific, and horrifically expensive . I don't bike for exercise I run or racing or anything like that, so I just want something cheap but reliable. I'd like to hit some of the trails near town just for fun, but it's not like I'll be doing serious mountain biking in Colorado or anything like that. I'm looking to spend less than 200 bucks, and from what I've seen online it looks like there are some Schwinn models that have gotten good reviews from consumers that fit that price range. I'm just wondering, from some people who actually know what they're talking about unlike me if you think that'd be a good choice for a commuter occasional light off roading bike. The most important thing to me is reliability I just want something that's going to hold up and be good quality for hopefully a few years to come. Thanks in advance for any advice Best, Tracy

What do you think of Schwinn mountain bikes and of Schwinn road bikes?
I got mine a Wal Mart. Feel good about it. But tires a little thin on road bike thinner than most road bikes and skid out a little when turning. Also why do I always need to adjust handlebars by rotating? Also why usually need to raise handlebars also? Why don't they just make them rotated?
